Taula Offers Additional $25,000 Sponsorship to the Manu Samoa


Taula Beverages Co Ltd has offered up an additional $25,000 tala sponsorship to the Manu Samoa 15s ahead of Friday’s test match against Italy at Apia Park Stadium.

This is the fourth year of Taula’s support to the Manu Samoa.

Taula’s Marketing Manager, Mulitalo Amosa Tupai says the company’s support to the national team is a natural extension of sponsorships offered throughout the year to the grassroots level.

“Rugby offers an alternative career path for our youth to earn a living and Taula’s commitment to sports development is our way of giving back to the community,” said Mulitalo.

“Taula is happy to support Lakapi Samoa’s efforts to host these two test matches in Samoa. Sports tourism is another way to help grow Samoa’s economy,” he added.

It would be Mase Mahonri Schwalger’s first test as Head Coach and favourite son of Samoa Theo McFarland’s first test as Captain of the beloved national rugby team.

Manu Samoa will play Spain next week, then disburse before the Pacific Nations Cup (PNC) to be held in August.

Taula Beverages Co Ltd supports grassroots rugby development through many years of support to Apia Rugby Union, and the new Vaiala Ulalei stadium is also named after Taula.

Taula Beverages has also more recently offered support to Lakapi Siumu, which has proven to have immediate results with Siumu taking out the Marist Pago International 7s.

The Taula All Star tournament has also provided a alternative to provincial competition and lifted the quality of local tournaments.

The Taula brand also sponsors the local tag series and the Marist BIG golf tournament.
