Happy Wednesday Saints.
Galatians 6:8b “WHOEVER SOWS TO PLEASE THE SPIRIT, FROM THE SPIRIT WILL REAP ETERNAL LIFE.”
C.S. Lewis once said that “Every time you make a choice, you are turning the central part of you – the part that chooses – into something a little different than what it was before.”
The choices that we make every day will either strengthen our spiritual resolve or our fleshly tendencies.
If you choose to SOW TO PLEASE THE SPIRIT, the part of you “that chooses” will become more decisive and stronger at making the right choices.
And the right choices WILL REAP ETERNAL LIFE.
The Greek word for “ETERNAL LIFE” is “zoe.” This word is not just about “eternity.” It speaks of “the fulness of life,” which belongs to God, the giver of life. And it’s a quality of life that is available now to those who sow to PLEASE THE SPIRIT.
Everything you think, say, and do is connected to your harvest. You will reap only what you sow. And sowing to PLEASE THE SPIRIT will always positively impact your future. It will fill your tomorrows with life and hope.
Sowing to PLEASE THE SPIRIT will produce a harvest of “LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS, AND SELF-CONTROL.”
When you consistently make the right choices, your chooser (the central part of you) becomes stronger, the fruit of the Spirit become more evident, and your life will reflect outwardly the marvellous work that “GOD, THE GIVER OF LIFE,” is doing inwardly.
Walk in the Spirit and have a wonderful day. God bless, and lots’a love,
Warren
