Happy Thursday Saints.

Exodus 16:23 “THIS IS WHAT THE LORD HAS SAID: ‘TOMORROW IS TO BE A DAY OF COMPLETE REST, A HOLY SABBATH TO THE LORD.'”

For some reason, we’ve glorified the grind, and celebrated overworking and toiling until we are completely exhausted with nothing left in the tank.

The exaltation of totally exhausting ourselves has seen many burn out and quit. Others have lost their family, sacrificed their own mental health and wellbeing by overworking themselves. Succeeding at all costs has literally seen many lose everything that’s dear to them.

God didn’t create you to work 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. He has a plan for your life and His plan includes you getting some rest and being restored in His presence.

You see, rest isn’t just about taking time off from work. If you don’t use that time wisely, you can go back to work more exhausted. Some people return from their holidays more fatigued.

Rest isn’t just about getting away; it’s about being with the One who restores your soul by giving you COMPLETE REST.

Would you consider yourself “well-rested?” When is the last time you felt totally refreshed and invigorated? For some, it has been so long that they’ve accepted being drained and tired as a normal part of their lives.

God doesn’t just want to give you rest, He wants to restore your soul, replenish your strength, and recharge your confidence. With proper rest, you’ll accomplish so much more without losing your sanity or your family.

Have an awesome day. God bless and lots’a love,
Warren
