Happy Friday Saints.
Yesterday, we saw that kindness doesn’t just bless others, it also blesses the person who is showing and giving kindness to others.
The Message paraphrase of Proverbs 11:17 says, “WHEN YOU ARE KIND TO OTHERS, YOU HELP YOURSELF; WHEN YOU’RE CRUEL TO OTHERS, YOU HARM YOURSELF.”
Have you been kind to those around you lately? Do yourself a massive favour, and be kind today.
There has been a lot of talk about Covid-19 and how contagious the disease is.
Well, kindness is contagious too.
Kindness is a choice. When you show kindness to one other person, you need to understand that the kindness you’ve shown them doesn’t stop with them.
Your kindness makes the recipient feel special and they, in turn, will be inspired to be kind to others.
Your kindness has the potential to relieve other’s stress, lessen their tension, reduce their anxiety, and ease conflict. And when you do that for others, they will be motivated to pay it forward.
When others witness your kindness, it reminds them of how we all should be treating one another. Your example will have have a rippling effect, and the impact will be far-reaching.
Spread some kindness this weekend and be blessed.
Love and prayers,
Warren
