Hebrews 6:12 “WE DO NOT WANT YOU TO BECOME LAZY, BUT TO BE LIKE THOSE WHO BELIEVE AND ARE PATIENT, AND SO RECEIVE WHAT GOD HAS PROMISED.”
It takes more than faith to RECEIVE WHAT GOD HAS PROMISED – it also takes PATIENCE.
Being PATIENT is the key to seeing what God promises you in His Word become your reality.
Becoming impatient is a sure sign that we no longer believe God can deliver on His Word.
Patience is the incredible ability to endure, persevere, be unmoved, and remain in faith even when the circumstances seem unfavorable. It is a “fruit of the Spirit,” as mentioned in Galatians 5:22. So we can ask God for help to remain PATIENT.
Don’t let temporary setbacks make you doubt God’s faithfulness. His Word is the solid foundation upon which we remain ever hopeful. If we fix our eyes on the Promises in His Word and meditate on them every day, and continue to DO WHAT HE SAYS, it’ll help us stand on the Rock until the temporary storms pass us by.
BE LIKE THOSE WHO BELIEVE AND ARE PATIENT, and one day, you too will RECEIVE WHAT GOD HAS PROMISED.
