Digicel Miss Samoa 2023 – 2024 Moemoana Safa’ato’a Schwenke’s reign as Miss Samoa officially commenced on Thursday morning after she was presented by Onomea Productions and Digicel Samoa to the Samoa Tourism Authority (STA).
The handover ceremony was held at the STA Fale attended by Samoa Tourism Chair Tauili’ili Alise Stunnenberg, members of the STA Board of Directors and STA CEO Pativaine Petaia-Tevita.
Chair of Onomea Productions, Leituala Kuiniselani Toelupe Tago spoke on behalf of the pageant organisers and sponsors to present Moemoana to the Samoa Tourism Authority.
As is the custom, Miss Samoa will spend the 12 months of her reign as a member of the STA team with a extensive role in various areas of community engagement including the promotion of Samoa as a tourist destination.
This year’s Digicel Miss Samoa won three main awards including Best Talent, Best Interview and Best Siva Samoa.
Moemoana Safaatoa also secured the specials awards of Best Puletasi. Best Sarong and the Miss Internet Award.
