Happy Friday Saints.

1Thessalonians 5:13 “GIVE THANKS IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES, FOR THIS IS GOD’S WILL FOR YOU IN CHRIST JESUS.”

There’s ALWAYS something to be thankful for, and you have 100% control of how grateful you are.

Ungrateful people don’t recognise and acknowledge the good aspects of their lives, so they’re often resentful and bitter. Nothing is ever good enough for them because they’re always focused on what’s missing or lacking.

Ungrateful people torment themselves with their own ingratitude. They often feel sorry for themselves and try to make those around them feel guilty about their achievements and blessings.

For ungrateful people, if they aren’t happy and content – nobody else should be joyful or optimistic. And their ingratitude only makes their resentment worse.

We have so much to be thankful for. And you control where your focus goes. You can choose to fix your eyes on what you DO have and pay attention to what IS WORKING and GOING WELL in your life. A grateful heart will fill us with optimism and give us hope to overcome any challenges. It will help us appreciate what we’ve got while we wait patiently for what might be lacking.

Ingratitude makes the unavoidable work and necessary patience insufferable. Why would anyone want to make life more challenging than it already is? And yet, so many would rather suffer the anxiety and resentment of being ungrateful than enjoy the peace and liberty that comes with being thankFUL.

No one has to remain ungrateful. And snapping out of it is easy. You just have to count your blessings and GIVE THANKS IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES.

What can you thank God for this weekend? What’s working in your favour? Instead of focusing on what’s lacking, what have you already been blessed with?

Who can you be thankful for? Who are you blessed to have in your life right now?

Let your MANY blessings fill your heart with gratitude and give you hope for the future. Have a great weekend.

God bless and lots’a love,
Warren
