2 March 2023 Apia Samoa, Gvt Press Secretariat Release. Cabinet has re-appointed Iuli Moefa’auo Salale Moananu as the Chief Executive in charge of the Samoa Sports Facility Authority (SSFA) for an additional three years.
Iuli has been in charge of the Government Authority responsible for the management and administration of all government-owned sports facilities including gyms and playing fields for the past 12 years.
Iuli holds a BA majoring in Accounting and Economics from the University of the South Pacific (USP) complemented by a Post Graduate Advance Diploma in Business Management from New England University, Australia.
Iuli is a Certified Public Accountant and has been a member of the Samoa Institute of Accountants since 2014.
The Government press release states; “Nine applicants applied for the post with one short-listed.”
The Samoa Sports Facility Authority Vision is to, “Promote Samoa as a Sports Centre of Excellence for the Pacific”.
It Mission Statement is: “To provide world class sports facilities to cater for sports and non sports events nationally, regionally and internationally.”
The SSFA Chief Executive reports to the Board of Directors Chaired by Soifua John Schuster, Sala Stella Siale Vaea Tagitau, Tuiloma Faitasi Gae’e, Rosemarie Esera and Fata Ryan Schuster.
