Happy Monday Saints.

Last week, I shared a passage from Isaiah with our church’s Service Team encouraging them to continue depending upon the Lord.

Too often in life, we try to live, work, or minister in our own strength.

There’s a passage in Isaiah that addresses the Israelites who were depending on the Egyptians instead of God. The Lord’s prophets often pleaded with Israel’s leaders to put their trust solely in the Lord and not in man.

Isaiah 30:15 says, “THIS IS WHAT THE SOVEREIGN LORD, THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL SAYS: ‘ONLY IN RETURNING TO ME AND RESTING IN ME WILL YOU BE SAVED. IN QUIETNESS AND CONFIDENCE IS YOUR STRENGTH. BUT YOU WOULD HAVE NONE OF IT.'”

As you can see, the Israelites, refused to listen and they didn’t put their trust in God and as a result, they suffered terribly.

People still do the same today. We put our trust in our own strength and abilities, in other people, in our bank statements, in our investments, in our jobs, and our resources.

Many who are in leadership put their trust in their positions of power and echo their independence by making decisions without praying and seeking the will of God.

Saints, you don’t have to work alone. You don’t have to stress or be anxious. Jesus’ yoke is easy and His burden is light. WITH HIM, you can do all things.

It takes faith to rely on God. With His plans to prosper you, He wants to give you hope, and a future that is filled with God-inspired and Holy Spirit-empowered achievements.

Acknowledge the Lord in all your ways this week. Let Him direct your paths. Relying on Him doesn’t make you weak, it makes you wise.

God bless and lots’a love,
Warren
