Happy Friday Saints.

Isaiah 12:1-3 “IN THAT DAY YOU WILL SAY, ‘I WILL PRAISE YOU LORD. ALTHOUGH YOU WERE ANGRY WITH ME, YOUR ANGER HAS TURNED AWAY AND YOU HAVE COMFORTED ME. SURELY GOD IS MY SALVATION; I WILL TRUST AND NOT BE AFRAID. THE LORD, THE LORD HIMSELF, IS MY STRENGTH AND DEFENCE; HE HAS BECOME MY SALVATION.’ WITH JOY YOU WILL DRAW WATER FROM THE WELLS OF SLAVATION.”

In today’s passage, Isaiah begins by acknowledging the past struggles and the righteous anger of God. Despite this, the prophet rejoices in the fact that God’s anger has turned away, and he has been comforted by the Lord.

This shift from anger to comfort is a powerful reminder of God’s grace and His willingness to forgive and restore those who turn to Him.

The key message in these verses is the declaration of God as our salvation. When we recognise God as our Saviour, our trust in Him grows, and fear begins to subside. We find strength and protection in Him because He’s the source of our salvation. We can rest assured that He is faithful to walk with us and help us with life’s challenges.

The imagery of drawing water from the wells of salvation is a picture of the abundance and sufficiency of God’s grace. Just as water is essential for life, God’s salvation is essential for our spiritual well-being. As we drink deeply from His well, we find refreshment, renewal, and joy that can only come from Him.

As you reflect on the profound truth of God as your salvation, offer Him your heartfelt praise for His mercy, His grace, and His unfailing love. May you trust in Him completely, knowing that He’s your strength, your defence, and your ultimate source of salvation. As you draw from the wells of His salvation, may your heart overflow with joy and gratitude for all that He has done, and all that He continues to do for you.

Have a fabulous weekend. God bless and lots’a love,

Warren
