SSAB and Samoa Victim Support Group continue its partnership with the launch of another joint charitable project this week.

The project calls on the public to donate clothes, whether new or second-hand, for children at the SVSG Campus of Hope. The project is a direct response to a  need identified by SVSG on areas that the group needed assistance with.

“Children at SVSG need love and support. One of their basic needs is clothes hence the reason behind this joint project, said SSAB CEO, Tofilau Fiti Leung Wai.

“Every child deserves to be happy, looked-after and feel special about themselves”.

SSAB has put in place a clothes donation box infront of its Megastore at Togafu’afu’a where members of the public who want to help, can drop off their clothes.

President of SVSG, Siliniu Lina Chang says the clothes are not only needed by the children under their care, but also the many others in the community under SVSG’s welfare support.

Aside from the joint project, SSAB has also donated a Cleanex 15kg washing machine to SVSG.

Washing machine has also been donated by SSAB.

It is expected that the delivery of clothes to SVSG would be done fortnightly, depending on the quantity of clothes donated.

Siliniu Lina Chang once again acknowledged Tofilau’s heart and SSAB’s continued support for charity work involving the Samoa Victim Support Group.
