
26 February 2019, Apia Samoa. Next week on the 4th of March Samoa will welcome more than 3,000 visitors of the MSC Magnifica Cruise Ship.
This was confirmed by the Samoa Tourism Authority.
Last week Prime Minister Tuilaepa Dr Sailele Malielegaoi reiterated the importance of tourism income to the successful development in Samoa, stating that about $400 million tala is expected to come into Samoa from overseas visitors.

Speaking about the cruise ship Tuialepa says this is the first time the MSC Magnifica has visited Samoa, and it would be one of the largest cruise ships to ever come to Samoa with 3,605 passengers and 1,027 crew.

“There are also 20 Samoan sailors have been confirmed working on the MSC Magnifica,” said Tuilaepa.
