Proverbs 27:1 “Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.”
We often find ourselves looking ahead—planning, dreaming, or even worrying about tomorrow. But today’s proverb reminds us that tomorrow isn’t guaranteed.
When we focus too much on what’s next and become proud about our future plans—we miss the blessings that are right in front of us.
God calls us to be present, to treasure today as His gift.
Jesus echoed this truth when He said, “Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself” (Matthew 6:34).
Each day carries enough of its own challenges and opportunities.
Instead of being consumed with what’s to come, let’s open our eyes to the people we can love, the opportunities we can embrace, and the grace we can receive TODAY.
Tomorrow is in God’s hands, but today is ours to be lived for His glory—so let’s not waste it.
Prayer:
Father, help me to live fully in the present, not distracted by tomorrow’s worries. Teach me to recognise and rejoice in the blessings of today, and to use each moment well for Your glory. In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen.
Have a fantastic week. God bless and lots’a love,
Warren
