Since its introduction in 2015, BSP’s annual Go Green initiative has grown into a signature community contribution programme across all BSP markets, mobilising staff, partners, and community groups to take collective action for a cleaner and healthier environment.

This year, Go Green was once again successfully rolled out last Saturday 22nd November 2025, reinforcing BSP’s long standing commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement.

Six groups made up of BSP staff members and community partners were spread out across the Apia central business district area.

The initiative continues to create meaningful impact by promoting sustainability, encouraging responsible waste management, and strengthening partnerships across sectors.

In Samoa, the Go Green activity demonstrated strong collaboration and dedication, with key organisations joining BSP staff such as the Samoa Tourism Authority, NUS students, Ministry of Women, Community and Social Development, Office of the Regulator and many others.

It was a morning dedicated to cleaning public spaces and promoting environmental awareness.

BSP extends sincere appreciation to the following partners for their invaluable participation: Ministry of Women, Community & Social Development, Samoa Tourism Authority, Goshen Trust Mental Health Services, National University of Samoa, Onomea Productions, Office of the Regulator and Lakapi Samoa

Their collective effort embodies the spirit of Go Green, working together to safeguard our environment for current and future generations.
