Happy Monday Saints.
Never underestimate the power of impacting ONE person’s life.
In Acts 9, there was a disciple named, Ananias. The Lord told him to go and lay hands on Saul “SO THAT HE MAY REGAIN HIS SIGHT.”
Knowing all the trouble and harm that Saul caused all the saints in Jerusalem, Ananias was understandably fearful.
Acts 9:15 says “BUT THE LORD SAID TO HIM, ‘GO, FOR THIS MAN IS MY CHOSEN INSTRUMENT TO TAKE MY NAME TO GENTILES, KINGS AND ISRAELITES.”
Ananias did what the Lord commanded him to do. Saul regained his sight, got baptized, and after spending some time in Damascus, Saul started “PROCLAIMING JESUS.”
We know that Saul became the Apostle Paul and we are still blessed today by the Epistles that he wrote under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. You can still read about all the great things that the Apostle Paul accomplished with and for God in the Bible.
As for the disciple “NAMED ANANIAS,” the Bible doesn’t record anything else about his life or ministry. But, his ONE ACT of obedience, and the impact of the ONE LIFE that he did touch, still influences and blesses us today.
Not everyone is called to have a global impact or an international ministry that touches the lives of countless people. And if we don’t see the value of ONE, we will never get started.
You might be more like Ananias. But your ONE ACT of obedience may touch the ONE LIFE that will go on to change nations.
Don’t compare yourself to others. Just do what the Lord has called you to do and leave the outcome of your obedience to Him.
So, instead of trying to change the world, start with ONE person.
Have an amazing week Saints. God bless and lots’a love,
Warren
