The Miss Pacific Islands Pageant officials are excited to announce six contestants for the Miss Pacific Islands 2026 to be held in Nadi Fiji from 13-14 February 2026. This year marks the 37th edition of the regional pageant and Fiji’s return as a host after seven years.

Six contestants confirmed for Miss Pacific Islands 2026 in Nadi Fiji.

The 6 contestants for 2026 are:

  • Fiji: Ailava Samuels (appointed after Miss Fiji 2025, Dr. Peggy Ravusiro, was unable to sign the pageant contract).
  • Samoa: Feagaimaali’i Soti Mapu.
  • Tonga: Siosi’ana Patricia Taumoepeau (Miss Heilala 2025).
  • Papua New Guinea: Iampela Popena.
  • American Samoa: Tofoipupū Unutoa.
  • Kiribati (Miss Micronesia): Atiterentaai Rinimarawa.

Miss Samoa Litara Loma Leilani Ieremia-Allan is the reigning Miss Pacific Islands, having been crowned in February 2025, in Honiara, Solomon Islands.

This victory marked Samoa’s second consecutive win, following 2024 winner Moemoana Safa’ato’a Schwenke.

Last year’s hosts, Solomon Islands will not participate in the 2026 pageant in Fiji. They say they still have their unresolved grievances following the 2025 event, including allegations of scoring discrepancies. Solomon Islands didn’t even host a local Miss Solomon Islands this year.

At the start of 2026, the Cook Islands was one of the major participants yet to confirm their representative, and now seems they won’t be joining the MPI pageant this year.

This year’s pageant theme is, “Leadership in Diversity and Adversity”.
