Samoan triathlon athletes Tyreece Collins and Darren Young have been named the number one and number two ranked pacific island male triathlon athletes for 2025 respectively.
Tyreece has recently won a Gold medal at the World Triathlon Development Regional Cup that was held in Fiji earlier this month. Â Young also competed and finished in 5th overall.
Collins finished the year ranked 528th overall in the world and 54th in Oceania.
His fellow triathlete teammate Darren Young finishes 2025 as the second best male Pacific island triathlete in the world with a total score of 149.32.
An outstanding year for both Collins and Young representing their country and making Samoa a force to be reckoned with on both the Oceania and world triathlon stage.
