Massive Lineup! Samoa and Pacific Music Artists Heading Home for Independence Concert

A fantastic line up of music artists are heading to Samoa for this year’s Indepence celebrations for a concert dubbed Motherland 2023.
MC Dr Tua Falesefulu has posted the lineup in an “official announcement” on his social media pages, adding that the event has been made possible by PacificCast.
“We take you back to your roots! Back to the Motherland!!” reads the announcement which many of the artists have also posted on their pages.
Set for Saturday 3rd June 2023 in Apia, the list includes a massive lineup of internationally renowned Pacific and Samoan artists.
The list of 21 musicians and bands include award winning artists Fiji, J Boog, HP Boyz, Lisi, Savage, Bina Butta, DJ Noiz, Kenyon Brown, Tomorrow People, Wayno, Lani Alo, DJ Tikelz, DJ 651, Mautoatasi & Matalena, Mr Tee, Zipso, Pacific Love Band, and more.
In his first announcement, Dr Tua says tickets will go on sale May 1st, however a follow up announcement a few hours later states the concert will be free entry!
“Faafetai lava PacificCast. Truly for our people by our people,” says Dr Tua.
Local sponsors who have stepped in to help make the event possible includes the Samoa Tourism Authority and Taumeasina Island Resort.
