Digicel today announced its partnership with EPC to bring an innovative feature to the Digicel MyCash App that will allow customers to use the app for purchasing prepaid power.

The initative, launched this morning at the Digicel headquarters in Apia will enable customers to easily recharge their meters using their mobile phones through the bill pay feature on the Digicel MyCash App.

“The new service is a great advantage for rural families, as it eliminates the need to travel long distances to an EPC outlet to buy power,” said the EPC General Manager, Faumui Tauiliili Iese Toimoana.

“With the Digicel MyCash App, customers can avoid long queues and the hassle of power shortages during emergencies, even after regular business hours.”

The app’s easy-to-use interface integrates directly with EPC’s power infrastructure to provide an efficient experience for customers.
