Happy Wednesday Saints.
Matthew 6:31&33 “THEREFORE, DO NOT WORRY SAYING, ‘WHAT SHALL WE EAT?’ OR ‘WHAT SHALL WE DRINK?’ OR ‘WHAT SHALL WE WEAR?’ BUT SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND ALL THESE THINGS WILL BE ADDED TO YOU.”
One of the major things that we all have control of is our priorities. You determine what is most important in your life.
Your priorities will determine how you use your time. Time will keep ticking by no matter what we do. It stops for no one. And even though we can’t control time, we can choose how to use it by managing ourselves.
Our priorities will determine what get’s done and what doesn’t. And a quick way to see what’s most important to you is to pay attention to what get’s most of your time.
Many often say that they don’t have time to pray, time to read their Bibles, time to go to church, time for their marriage or their children, time to exercise or time to take care of their health. And yet these same people have time to watch Netflix, go out with their friends, play golf (or other sports), stay too long at the gym, watch a game on TV, go shopping, sit in a cafe, surf the internet, and spend hours on Facebook or some other social media. It’s not that they don’t have the time; they’ve got the same 24 hours as everyone else but they don’t have the same priorities.
Jesus said to ‘seek FIRST the kingdom of God.’ In other words, PRIORITISE the kingdom of God. When we prioritise the Lord and His kingdom, He sets everything in our lives in order and in their rightful place. And when everything in our lives is in order, we maximise our time.
Your time, energy and resources will be fully utilized when God is first. He will give you the wisdom to manage yourself and make the most of all that He has blessed you with.
Take control of your priorities and put first things first. Do this, and you’ll have all the time you need to get things done.
Have an awesome day. God bless and lots’a love,
Warren
