Romans 14:12
“SO THEN, EACH OF US WILL GIVE AN ACCOUNT OF HIMSELF TO GOD.”
Happy Wednesday Saints.
You are responsible for YOURSELF. When it comes to what you say, how you say it, and when you say it, you are 100% responsible for what comes out of your mouth.
You will give an account of YOURSELF to God and you won’t be able to blame anything you said or did on anyone else.
If you’re married, you can’t blame your spouse. You can’t blame your parents or your family. You can’t blame your boss, the company you work for, the government, or the economy. You can’t blame your circumstances. You are responsible for your own actions and your own words.
Proverbs 17:27-28 says that “A MAN OF KNOWLEDGE RESTRAINS HIS WORDS, AND A MAN OF UNDERSTANDING MAINTAINS A CALM SPIRIT. EVEN A FOOL IS CONSIDERED WISE IF HE KEEPS SILENT AND DISCERNING WHEN HE HOLDS HIS TONGUE.”
Slow down! Don’t be so quick to speak. Don’t be too keen to say something. If you really want things to turn out good, think carefully about what you have to say.
Proverbs 29:20 tells us that “THERE IS MORE HOPE FOR A FOOL THAN FOR SOMEONE WHO SPEAKS WITHOUT THINKING.”
When we speak too quickly, we aren’t thinking about the impact of our words or their effect on the hearer.
Words have consequences and they must be chosen for an exact and desired outcome. When they’re chosen wisely – they will impact your life in a spectacular and favourable way.
Speak life and have an awesome day. God bless and lots’a love,
Warren
