Psalm 32:1
“BLESSED IS THE ONE WHOSE TRANSGRESSIONS ARE FORGIVEN, WHOSE SINS ARE COVERED.”
Happy Tuesday Saints.
The first benefit that the psalmist remembers in Psalm 103 is that the Lord “FORGIVES ALL OUR INIQUITIES.”
It’s easy to take God’s grace, mercy, and forgiveness for granted, but the fact is, without His forgiveness we are hopeless and condemned.
Saints, because of your faith in the redemptive work of Jesus, ALL your sins are FORGIVEN.
Your past no longer separates you from God. You are no longer cursed, but BLESSED.
Psalm 32:1 says “BLESSED IS THE ONE WHOSE TRANSGRESSIONS ARE FORGIVEN, WHOSE SINS ARE COVERED.”
And that was in the Old Testament. In the New Testament, Jesus’ precious blood doesn’t cover our sins, His blood cleanses us of ALL unrighteousness. You can stand before the Lord guilt-free.
You are FORGIVEN of anything that could’ve possibly prevented you from being BLESSED by the Lord. With the righteousness of Christ, you can enjoy ALL the benefits that come with being a child of God.
It’s no wonder the psalmist listed God’s forgiveness as the first reason to rejoice and bless the Lord.
Have you BLESSED THE LORD lately and thanked Him for the forgiveness of ALL your sins?
That one reason is worth rejoicing over every day.
Be mindful of your blessings this week. It’ll give you the positive mindset that you need to overcome any challenges.
Have an awesome day. God bless and lots’a love, Warren
