With a Positive Attitude You Can Overcome Any Challenges

Happy Friday Saints.

Have you found anything to celebrate and rejoice over yet?

You might be feeling down about being in lockdown or perhaps discouraged about your current situation but having a negative attitude won’t improve anything.

Fixing your mind on things that are EXCELLENT and WORTHY OF PRAISE isn’t about turning a blind eye to what’s happening around you. It’s about having a positive attitude so that you are in the right frame of mind to overcome your circumstances.

Jesus said in John 16:33 that “IN THE WORLD YOU’LL HAVE TROUBLE. BUT CHEER UP, I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD.”

The Apostle Paul wrote “REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS, AGAIN I WILL SAY REJOICE,” while he was detained in prison. (Philippians 4:4)

If the Apostle Paul can rejoice while he’s in prison, surely we can rejoice while our movements are restricted because of Covid 19.

Maintaining a negative attitude is a choice. And as we saw yesterday, it’s enough to make you sick. A negative attitude takes a light and momentary affliction and makes it HEAVY and UNBEARABLE.

Remember, what YOU fix your mind on IS A CHOICE. And the Bible tells us to think about things that are true, honourable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, excellent and worthy of praise.

When you CHEER UP and REJOICE, you turn your attention to the Lord who is able to strengthen you and empower you for victory. With the right mindset, you can get yourself out of the rut.

If you catch yourself being negative, simply change your focus and fix your mind on all that is good. With the right attitude, you can endure anything until you overcome it.

Have a wonderful weekend. God bless and lots’a love,
Warren
