Wilex Samoa ‘s Noni Loa signed a supply contract with Feiji International to distribute Noni Loa in the Chinese market during the 3rd China – Pacific Forum held in Apia on the 21st October 2019.
As part of this exciting new business opportunity the CCTV (China Central Television) News Crew called in at the Wilex factory at Lelata.
CCTV say that they just had to visit and capture the management team of Wilex as a company selected for its export readiness and state of the art manufacturing facility for high quality noni products.

Manager Nathan Wilson says, “The call was unexpected, but we jumped to the opportunity!”
“It was funny because they called on Sunday and usually Sunday is our day of rest but we had to do it then and there! So we got our team out and did the interview at our factory in Lelata Sunday evening.”
In the interview Wilson was asked what was so special about the Noni Juice and the Noni Tree in Samoa.
“I emphasised Samoa’s nonu juice is special and is more potent when compared to Noni Juice from other Pacific Islands. Our Noni juice is renowned around the world and even used but branded as other countries Noni Juice.
Nathan Wilson says Samoa noni juice is a superfruit used to boost immunity, regulate blood pressure and good for overall wellbeing.
“We are fighting for new markets for our farmers and this great product that is Noni juice”
“Currently, there is a lot of fruit on the island and our farmers are crying out for markets so Wilex Samoa is pushing for a sustainable market with the brand name Samoa Noni Loa.”

Wilson explains the cultural significance of the suffix “loa” to the family heritage.
“Using the same concept branding we’ve used for our popular Koko Loa brand, Noni Loa is a play on words using our family chief title Tagaloa and sharing products with the slogan “Heaven sent with alofa from Samoa”.
He continued: “The Chinese market is huge and potential is there but we don’t take it for granted, there is a lot of work to ensure the Samoan name on every bottle is perfect and we hope other manufacturers do the same”.

“In Samoan culture our family name is worth more than life and we carry the “SAMOA” name on our products so we emphasise perfection in our products right from the farm to the bottle. This will insure the brand SAMOA is safe and trusted in the markets globally. We hope the our Government will help with an initiative to ensure anyone using the Samoa brand name offers safe products to protect our markets for our farmers and our future generations.
