1John 4:16 “GOD IS LOVE.”
Our Heavenly Father can be described in many different ways, but at His core, HE IS LOVE. All His attributes, including His righteousness, holiness, power, and authority, are established in love.
Everything He does with you and for you, including His plan and purpose for your life, is set in love.
GOD IS LOVE. 1 Corinthians 6:17 says that “WHOEVER IS UNITED WITH THE LORD IS ONE WITH HIM IN SPIRIT.” You are one spirit with love.
C.S. Lewis once said, “The Son of God became a man to enable men to become sons of God.”
As a child of God, you have the divine ability to live a life of love. To live a life that is DIVINELY ENABLED TO LOVE beyond the basic, self-centred tendencies of the world.
You have the incredible ability to love others with the unfailing, ceaseless, unbreakable, imperishable LOVE OF GOD.
You may be remembered for a lot of things, but as a child of God, you should be known for your love.
So, instead of looking for reasons to be unforgiving, bitter or angry with others; remember whose child you are. Remember who you are one with. Tap into the divine ability to love others unconditionally and completely.
Be a loving child of God today because THAT’S WHO YOU ARE.
