Happy Thursday Saints.
Understanding the brevity of our time here on earth is supposed to help us focus on what’s REALLY important.
When we are asked about what REALLY matters and what’s MOST IMPORTANT to us, many Christians answer with, God and family. But when we look at where we spend our time, strength, resources, and finances – very little is spent on God or family.
Ephesians 5:15-17 says to “BE VERY CAREFUL THEN HOW YOU LIVE – NOT AS UNWISE BUT AS WISE, MAKING THE MOST OF EVERY OPPORTUNITY BECAUSE THE DAYS ARE EVIL. THEREFORE, DO NOT BE FOOLISH, BUT UNDERSTAND WHAT THE LORD’S WILL IS.”
The Apostle Paul is telling us that if we want to make the most of our time here on earth, we must understand what the LORD’S WILL IS.
We weren’t created to live this life serving our own selfish desires and pursuing our own dreams.
2 Corinthians 5:15 says that Jesus “DIED FOR EVERYONE SO THAT THOSE WHO RECEIVE HIS NEW LIFE WILL NO LONGER LIVE FOR THEMSELVES. INSTEAD, THEY WILL LIVE FOR CHRIST, WHO DIED AND WAS RAISED FOR THEM.”
The abundant life that Jesus died for us to have is a life spent with and for God. When He is first and foremost in your life, EVERYTHING else that pertains to you will be blessed!
He can show you how to make the most of every day and every opportunity. He can show you how your marriage, family, children, and relationships can flourish. He can help you grow and prosper in every area of your life.
Get connected to the TRUE VINE and let His life, love, and power, channel through you and onto everything else.
Have a God-inspired, Christ-centred, Holy Spirit-empowered day.
God bless and lots’a love,
Warren
