We can Consider it a Great Joy when we Understand that the Trial we Face Produce Endurance

Happy Friday Saints.

James 1:2-3 “CONSIDER IT A GREAT JOY, MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS, WHENEVER YOU EXPERIENCE VARIOUS TRIALS, BECAUSE YOU KNOW THAT THE TESTING OF YOUR FAITH PRODUCES ENDURANCE.”

We all need endurance. All of us must strengthen our ability to endure if we are going to successfully fulfil the will of God for our lives.

But endurance isn’t developed with ease and comfort. For Christians, endurance is developed when our faith is being tested.

The Bible doesn’t say “IF” we face trials; it says “WHENEVER” we experience them. So, experiencing trials and having our faith tested, are a normal part of life.

If you don’t accept that fact, you’re going to be bitterly disappointed and severely unprepared whenever you “EXPERIENCE VARIOUS TRIALS.” And that’s not the attitude that the Bible wants us to have when we do.

A bodybuilder shapes their body with resistance training and proper nutrition. We become spiritually mature by the testing of our faith and feeding on the Word of God.

We can “CONSIDER IT A GREAT JOY” when we understand that the trials we face and the testing of our faith produce “ENDURANCE.”

We can have joy knowing that God can bring us through our trials victorious, and great joy knowing that there will come a time when we will experience eternity with God and there will be no more pain, sorrow or suffering.

Until then, face your trials with faith and joy. With the right attitude, you’ll come through them STRONGER.
