1 Corinthians 12:21&27

“THE EYE CANNOT SAY TO THE HAND, ‘I DON’T NEED YOU!’ OR AGAIN, THE HEAD CANNOT SAY TO THE FEET, ‘I DON’T NEED YOU!’ NOW YOU ARE THE BODY OF CHRIST, AND INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS OF IT.”

Happy Thursday Saints.

Do you have an ‘I DON’T NEED YOU’ attitude?

We weren’t created to accomplish the will of God for our lives independently. Whether you’re willing to admit it or not – YOU NEED HELP.

It’s OK to need the help of others. What many are too proud to do is ask for it. It’s unhealthy to develop a culture at home or in an organisation where people feel uncomfortable or ashamed to ask for help. There is absolutely no shame in requiring help. And if you need help from those around you, ASK!

“Expecting others to mind-read your needs is only going to lead to resentment and frustration.” Dr Caroline Leaf.

If you have an ‘I DON’T NEED YOU’ attitude and you’re becoming increasingly frustrated at the lack of help you’re receiving, then don’t blame or resent those around you.

It’s quite simple really – if you haven’t asked for help – then don’t expect to receive it.

Many of us in ‘THE BODY OF CHRIST’ are surrounded by good people who are more than willing to help, but our pride prevents us from seeking it.

1Corinthians 12:24-25 tells us that God has put the body together so “THAT THE MEMBERS SHOULD HAVE THE SAME CARE FOR ONE ANOTHER.”

If you need help in any area of your life (spiritual, physical or emotional) don’t be afraid to ASK FOR IT. The support you need is closer than you realise.

Have a great day. God bless and lots’a love,
Warren
