Vodafone Samoa will be organising an inaugural Leadership Summit set to take place on Monday 8th May 2023 at the Taumeasina Island Resort.
The summit aims to bring together Government & Business leaders to speak on various aspects of leadership.
Prime Minister Hon Fiame Naomi Mataafa will speak on the “Importance of Diversity in Leadership”.
Other speakers are BSP Samoa Country Head and former Chamber President, Jennifer Ula-Fruean speaking on “Virtual Leadership” while Vodafone Samoa’s Chief Technical Officer Tofa Le’uo Alani Faiai will present on “How Technology will Shape Leadership”.
Samoa’s highest qualified psychiatrist Seiulialii Dr George Usufono Leao Tuitama who Heads the Department of Mental Health will be speaking on “Managing Stress for Leaders”.
According to Vodafone Samoa CEO, Rana Bose, the event is designed to be delivered as an international summit with standards “never seen before in Samoa.”

“The goal is to bring together leaders with diverse backgrounds and experiences to share their knowledge and insights on effective leadership strategies and overcoming challenges particularly for our pacific island nation. The summit will provide a forum for leaders to share their experiences, successes, and challenges.”
The Vodafone Samoa CEO says the leadership summit may become an annual event, “based on the success and feedback on this year’s summit.”
