Happy Friday Saints.
God’s Word Translation of 2Corinthians 1:6 says “IF WE ARE COMFORTED, WE CAN EFFECTIVELY COMFORT YOU WHEN YOU ENDURE THE SAME SUFFERINGS THAT WE ENDURE.”
It’s one thing to want to comfort and support others while they are suffering, it’s another thing to do it “EFFECTIVELY.”
No one person can EFFECTIVELY help every other person. There are certain people that I can’t connect with effectively because I don’t understand their pain and suffering. There are people that I can’t empathise with because I haven’t walked in their shoes.
Your experiences have given you the ability to connect with certain people on a personal level of understanding. They give you compassion, insight, and knowledge that is fundamental to you being able to provide others with EFFECTIVE help.
The victories that the Lord has given you will provide others with the comfort and the hope that they need to ENDURE THE SAME SUFFERING.
The SAME God who helped you endure the SAME SUFFERING will also give others the SAME STRENGTH and the SAME VICTORY that He gave you.
You are living proof that there is hope for others who are currently facing similar situations. Your God-given victory will help them patiently endure until the end of their hardship.
Don’t hide your scars or be ashamed of your past battles. Jesus bore all your sins and all your shame. Use all that God delivered you from, to give comfort, courage and strength to others.
God bless and have a great weekend. Lots’a love,
Warren
