15 July 2019, Pacific Games Apia Samoa. Samoa Touch got off to a good start today with the Women’s team winning three out of four matches while the men secured two easy wins.
The Women’s team started with a close game against Fiji, scoring a last minute try to win 4-3. They succumbed to the 2015 Gold Medalists Papua New Guinea by 8-0 and then thrashed Solomon Islands by 23-0.



The Women’s team will play Tonga tomorrow at 11.50am and Cook Is at 2.20pm.



The men beat Tokelau comfortably by 16 points to 1 and managed to secure a good win over Fiji 8-6.



The Mena team will play Cook Is at 9.20am and Tonga at 11.50am and Solomon Islands at 3.10pm. The Samoa Men’s tram will then face Papua New Guinea on Wednesday at 9.20am.
