An unlicensed driver charged with causing the death of a 23 year old father from Toamua is yet to enter a plea to four traffic related charges against her in the Supreme Court.
Moemoe Afiafi is charged with negligent driving causing death.
She also faces additional charges of failing to stop, not being a holder of a valid drivers license, negligent driving causing bodily injury to a person and negligent driving causing death.
Brandon Hall was a young father who died three days after the accident at the Tupua Tamasese Meaole Hospital from critical injuries sustained from the incident. He was trying to cross to the other side of the road when he was struck infromt of Bluebird Lumber and Hardware at Vaitele.

Momoe was represented by her lawyer Fetu Lagaaia who requested an adjournment to get full instructions on the charges against his client.
According to the Police Summary of Facts, the Serena van driven by the defendant was speeding and she did not stop at the accident site because she was afraid, but instead turned herself in to the police the next morning.
