Two former employees of Pacific Ezy pleaded not guilty to charges of theft as a servant during criminal mentions in the Supreme Court of Samoa this week.
The pair had worked at Pacific Ezy Money Transfer in Salelologa and are alleged to have stolen more than $20,000 from their former employer between 30th April and 31st July 2020.
Marilyn Fenika Siilata denied 13 charges of theft as a servant and obtaining by deception against her, but did accept one charge of theft as a servant which she pleaded guilty to through her lawyer, Sua Helena Wallwork.
The other defendant Lele Mataia Sue pleaded guilty to all 14 charges against her through her lawyer Leinafo Taimalelagi.
The Supreme Court set a November hearing date for the matter.
