Who is your closest friend? Who do you trust enough to confide in? Do you have someone that you can talk to in difficult times?

A friendship that gives you the freedom to express your vulnerabilities is rare and difficult to come by. It’s really about finding someone that you feel completely safe with when you share your deepest and innermost thoughts.

Proverbs 17:17 says that “A FRIEND LOVES AT ALL TIMES.”

A genuine friend will never give up you. Their love, like that of our Heavenly Father’s, is unconditional. They are loyal. Some friends are with you only in the good times. But a real friend sticks with you even when difficulties arise. They don’t have all the answers but they’ll be present when you need someone to talk to.

Not everyone is TRUSTWORTHY, so be careful. And if you do find such a friend – CHERISH THEM and THANK GOD FOR THEM.

Even though good friends accept you for who you are and they’ll always be there for you; a genuine friend also wants to see you excel and succeed.

A real friend isn’t afraid to speak the truth. The Contemporary English Version of Proverbs 27:6 says “YOU CAN TRUST A FRIEND WHO CORRECTS YOU, BUT KISSES FROM AN ENEMY ARE NOTHING BUT LIES.”

Watch out for the kisses of those who don’t want to see you do well. Their flattery will keep you stuck where you are and hinder you from moving forward.

Genuine friends motivate you and inspire you to get out of your comfort zone. They aren’t afraid to tell you what you’re doing wrong or what’s keeping you from reaching your full potential. Their motive for telling you the truth isn’t to destroy you but to build you up.

Find friends who’ll bring out the best in you, who genuinely want to see you achieve great things in life.

God bless and lots’a love,
Warren.
