ISSUED BY THE SAMOA METEOROLOGY DIVISION AT 5:00 AM
TUESDAY 12nd OCTOBER 2021.

VALID: HEAVY RAIN ADVISORY.

The trough of low pressure coupled with the convergence zone has shifted east of Samoa. However, remnants of the systems will maintain cloudy conditions with continuous light rain for today. Expect brief moderate to heavy falls at times.

Therefore; the Heavy Rain Advisory remains in force for all areas of Samoa. These conditions are predicted to move further away from the Islands later evening.

Potential Impacts for Samoa:

Heavy downpours with poor visibility, foggy and slippery roads over mountain passes and ranges, pooling near roadsides and waterways.
