Happy Wednesday Saints.

Yesterday, we ended with the thought of loving others as you do yourself.

James 2:8 says “IF YOU REALLY KEEP THE ROYAL LAW FOUND IN SCRIPTURE, ‘LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOUR AS YOU LOVE YOURSELF,’ YOU ARE DOING RIGHT.”

No one likes it when others slander and backbite them. And if you really cared about others, you wouldn’t do it to them either.

How would you like it if someone you love and care about, spoke to others about your weaknesses, flaws and past sins? You’d feel exposed and betrayed.

Just as you’d want those you love, to speak to you privately about any issues that they may have with you, you should be willing to do the same for them.

Jesus said in Matthew 18:15 that “IF YOUR BROTHER OR SISTER SINS, GO AND POINT OUT THEIR FAULT, JUST BETWEEN THE TWO OF YOU.”

How does it benefit others if you talk negatively about them to someone else? Slandering others has never made anything better. It might feed your own self-righteous indignation, but the resulting discord will only make things worse.

If you love others as you love yourself, you’d speak to them privately without exposing their faults to others.

Keep the ROYAL LAW and have a wonderful day.

God bless and lots’a love,                                                                                      Warren
