Ephesians 2:14 “For He Himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility.”

When sin entered the world, it not only separated us from God—it also divided people from one another. Humanity built walls of hostility: between Jew and Gentile, rich and poor, slave and free, one nation and another. But Jesus came to tear down those walls.

He didn’t just bring peace—He Himself is our peace. Through His death, He reconciled us both to God and to one another. In Christ, enemies become brothers, strangers become family, and the once-distant are brought together in one body.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, You are my peace. Thank You for breaking down every wall that separates me from others and from God. Teach me to live as a peacemaker—to forgive, to reconcile, and to love as You love. Let Your peace rule in my heart and flow through my life. In Your name, I pray. Amen.
