There is Power in the Words you Speak

Happy Thursday Saints.

So far, we’ve mainly looked at the negative or the destructive part of the power of words. But Proverbs 18:21 tells us that “DEATH AND LIFE ARE IN THE POWER OF THE TONGUE.”

The same tongue that weakens and destroys us also has the power to strengthen and inspire us.

Proverbs 13:2 says “FROM THE FRUIT OF THEIR LIPS PEOPLE ENJOY GOOD THINGS.”

And Proverbs 10:11 says that “THE MOUTH OF THE RIGHTEOUS IS A FOUNTAIN OF LIFE.”

One of the first things that many of us need to do in order to turn things around is change the way we talk about ourselves and our circumstances.

Nothing will improve or change if the way we talk remains the same.

And the best thing to speak over EVERYTHING is the written Word of God.

John 1:1 says that “IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE WORD, AND THE WORD WAS WITH GOD, AND THE WORD WAS GOD.”

That’s the same WORD that was spoken IN THE BEGINNING when God created the heavens and the earth. His Word has creative power and when it’s spoken in faith, it can change your life and transform your world.

Joshua 1:8 says to “KEEP THIS BOOK OF THE LAW ALWAYS ON YOUR LIPS.”

The mouth of the righteous is a FOUNTAIN OF LIFE because the Word of God is all that they’re interested in speaking.

You can develop the discipline of speaking wisely, and use your mouth as a fountain of life.

Choose your words carefully and have a life-changing day.

God bless and lots’a love,
Warren
