Happy Thursday Saints.
Yesterday, we saw that “HE WHO RESTRAINS HIS LIPS IS WISE.”
Ecclesiastes 3:7 tells us that, “THERE IS A TIME TO BE SILENT AND A TIME TO SPEAK.”
When it comes to discussing sensitive matters with others, timing is extremely important.
We must all remember that THERE IS A TIME TO BE SILENT. There are times when SAYING NOTHING is the smartest thing to do.
It’s difficult to stay silent when we are hurt or disappointed. But if we are not careful, the distress may cause us to say the wrong things.
If you take the TIME TO BE SILENT when you’re upset, you’ll allow yourself some time to calm down and give yourself some time to re-establish your focus on God. With your heart set on Him, your words will be seasoned with grace and love.
When used appropriately, silence can be a powerful way of making sure that your next step will be a step in the right direction.
Have a great day. God bless, and lots’a love,
Warren.
