OUR NEED FOR A SAVIOUR
Proverbs 30:12 “Those who are pure in their own eyes and yet are not cleansed of their filth.”
It’s easy to look at ourselves and think, “I’m not so bad.” We might compare ourselves to others and come out looking pretty CLEAN IN OUR OWN EYES. But God’s Word tells us the truth: no matter how innocent or pure we think we are, sin still stains us.
Paul clearly states in Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” None of us measures up.

Our best efforts, no matter how sincere, cannot erase our guilt. Good works, religious habits, or moral living can’t save us. Only Jesus—through His sacrifice on the cross—can cleanse us from sin and make us truly pure before God.
The real danger is pride – thinking we don’t need saving.
The real blessing is humility – acknowledging our sin and running to Christ. “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.” (Ephesians 1:7)
Prayer:
Father, I confess that I fall short of Your holiness. No matter how clean I may look on the outside, I need the cleansing power of Jesus’ blood. Wash me, forgive me, and keep me humble, always dependent on Your grace. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Have a wonderful day. God bless and lots’a love,
Warren
