Psalm 37:23-24

“THE STEPS OF A MAN ARE ESTABLISHED BY THE LORD WHO TAKES DELIGHT IN HIS JOURNEY. THOUGH HE FALLS HE WILL NOT BE OVERWHELMED, FOR THE LORD IS HOLDING HIS HAND.”

Happy Monday Saints.

Have you ever felt like you’ve messed up so badly that you’d be unable to get back up, recover and thrive again?

The devil loves it when we beat ourselves up with guilt and lose all hope of coming back. He wants to remind you of your past and he wants you to rehearse your mistakes over and over again so that you can’t see anything else but your failures.

Everyone makes mistakes and stumbles. Messing up or falling is not the end of the world.

Today’s passage says that you are on a “journey.” You haven’t arrived at your destination yet. You may stumble along the way but you are not alone. The Lord is holding your hand. You don’t need to be “overwhelmed” or discouraged by your past.

Psalm 145:14 says that “HE HELPS THOSE WHO ARE IN TROUBLE; HE LIFTS THOSE WHO HAVE FALLEN.”

Our God specialises in lifting people out of despair.

He doesn’t want you to stay stuck in the past. He’s got plans to give you “A HOPE AND A FUTURE.”

This is a good week to get back up and press forward. Pick an area of your life that you’ve let fall and deteriorate, and make it thrive again.

God bless and lots’a love,
Warren
