The President of SASNOC, Pauga Talalelei Pauga, has happily and thankfully reported that Team Samoa has arrived safely to their final destination, Birmingham United Kingdom,
after 3 days of travelling.
“We thank God for everything”.
Team Samoa has settled in after having to go through Covid-19 testing and accreditation, a process that had athletes waiting for hours into the early hours of the night.
Team Samoa are getting together for evening devotionals and prayers, just as they would have done at home.
Each team is able to continue with their training, as they await the official opening of the Commonwealth Games 2022 this Thursday 28th July 2022.
The time difference is 12 hours, so 7:00pm in Birmingham United Kingdom will be Friday
morning 29th July 2022, at 7:00am Samoa local time.
The schedule of games can be found on the link https://www.birmingham2022.com/
The table below is the schedule of events that our Team Samoa will be competing in.
“Thank you to all our partners, sponsors, families and friends for the support and prayers.
May we continue to pray for our Team Samoa’s safety and well-being, and for success”.
