The Taula Apia Rugby Union’s women’s 10-a-side tournament continued into its second week with Striders bouncing back to take out the round-robin.



Striders left Apia tryless with a score of 22-0 before a close game where they just managed to edge out tournament leaders No Idea, by 15-12.
In another close match, the Apia girls were defeated by No Idea by 17-14.
The Taula Apia Union’s womens 10-a-side tournament kicked off last week with No Idea leading Round 1.
The first round was made special by the visiting Linwood Christchurch women’s team led by Samoa’s long serving Manusina Captain and inspirational women’s rugby legend, Sui Tauaua Puaraisa.



The visitors finished second behind No Idea while Striders finished in third place with Apia Maroons fourth.
The women’s 10-a-side tournament is played at Lakapi Samoa’s High Performace Unit grounds at Tuanaimato on Saturdays.
