Take the Time to Write God’s Word on the Tablet of Your Heart and Enjoy the Freedom

Happy Thursday Saints.

Do you want to stand strong in the face of sin and temptation?

Psalm 119:11 says, “I HAVE STORED UP YOUR WORD IN MY HEART, THAT I MIGHT NOT SIN AGAINST YOU.”

When the devil tempted Jesus in Luke 4, He overcame the temptations with the written word of God.

The Psalmist stored God’s Word in his heart. He collected God’s Word like a treasure hunter and hid it deep inside his heart. It became a great source of power to him. Because he valued and treasured God’s Word, it gave him an internal strength that enabled him to overcome sin.

When God’s Word finds a home in the heart of a believer, it comes to life. When it remains on the page, it does you no good. But when it enters your heart, and it’s mixed with faith, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.

Psalm 40:8 says, “I TAKE JOY IN DOING YOUR WILL MY GOD, FOR YOUR INSTRUCTIONS, ARE WRITTEN ON MY HEART.”

Sin can’t overcome the person who has gained wisdom and strength from the Scriptures.

Temptation can’t overcome the individual who is walking in the light of the Scriptures that they know.

Take the time to write God’s Word on the tablet of your heart and enjoy the freedom that you have from sin’s power over your life. Temptation is easier to overcome when your heart is overflowing with God’s powerful Word.

God bless and have a wonderful day. Lots’a love,

Warren
