Happy Tuesday Saints.
True joy is not about having perfect circumstances. If it was, you’d be very disappointed every time things didn’t go so well.
Being a joyful person isn’t about caring less about what’s going on around you. It isn’t about being irresponsible about the challenges that you may be facing. True joy doesn’t run away from or ignore the problems that we face.
As we saw yesterday, it’s about taking refuge in God and trusting Him. It’s a place of faith, where God’s own peace and joy become yours and you receive the strength to overcome whatever you may be facing.
Romans 15:13 “MAY THE GOD OF HOPE FILL YOU WITH ALL JOY AND PEACE AS YOU TRUST IN HIM, SO THAT YOU MAY OVERFLOW WITH HOPE BY THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.”

Did you notice what God does for those who trust Him? He FILLS them with ALL JOY AND PEACE.
For us to lose our joy we have to stop trusting God; we have to take our eyes off the Lord and His Promises and be overwhelmed by what we are facing.
Don’t hide under the weight of your problems – that will destroy your faith. Take refuge in God. Trust Him and let His hope fill you with the joy you need to conquer the rest of this week.
God bless and lots’a love,
Warren
