The Samoa Victim Support Group (SVSG) Youth presented a donation of $1,500 tala to Blessing Fale, a young survivor of violence who continues to fight for recovery with the support of his family.
SVSG Youth first visited Blessing in November, where they witnessed the severity of his condition and the emotional toll on his loved ones.
Deeply moved and determined to help, the youth division organised a BBQ fundraising event last Friday, bringing together supporters who shared the same commitment to Blessing’s healing and wellbeing.
This donation was made during the global 16 Days of Activism to End Violence Against Women and Children, reinforcing the urgent message that violence has no place in our families, communities, or nation.
The youth’s initiative stands as a powerful reminder that young people are key agents of change in the fight against violence.
SVSG extends its heartfelt appreciation to the SVSG Youth and the wider community, those who purchased BBQ and those with monetary donation for standing in unity to support Blessing Fale and all victims of violence in Samoa.
