Psalm 23:6 “SURELY GOODNESS AND MERCY SHALL FOLLOW ME ALL THE DAYS OF MY LIFE, AND I SHALL DWELL IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD FOREVER.”

In Psalm 23, David paints a beautiful picture of the Lord as our Shepherd, who guides and provides for us in every season of life.

As we reflect on the above verse, we are reminded of the unwavering promises of God’s goodness and mercy that accompany us every step of the way.

“SURELY GOODNESS AND MERCY SHALL FOLLOW ME ALL THE DAYS OF MY LIFE.” These words offer us comfort and assurance that no matter what circumstances we face, God’s goodness and mercy are ever-present. His goodness goes before us, preparing the way, and His mercy follows us, offering forgiveness and compassion when we stumble.

In times of joy and abundance, we can see the evidence of God’s goodness all around us — in the beauty of creation, in the love of family and friends, and in the countless blessings He pours out on us each day.

And, even in the midst of trials and challenges, we can trust that His goodness remains steadfast, working all things together for our good.

God’s mercy is equally abundant, reaching out to us in our moments of weakness and need. It’s His mercy that lifts us up when we fall, that restores our soul and grants us new beginnings.

As we reflect on these truths, let us take heart and find rest in the promise that we shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Our journey on this earth is a temporary one, leading us ultimately to our eternal home in the presence of our Shepherd. There, we will experience the fullness of His goodness and mercy in ways we can only imagine, as we bask in the glory of His love for all eternity.

Saints, hold fast to the hope of Psalm 23:6, trusting in the goodness and mercy of our Good Shepherd, and looking forward to the day when we will dwell in His house forever.

May this truth be a source of strength and encouragement as we walk through the valleys and climb the mountains of life, knowing that we are never alone, for He is always with us.

Have a great day. God bless and lots’a love,

Warren
