4 July 2020. Apia Samoa. The popular Giordanos Pizzeria in Apia will re-open on Sunday evenings starting next week 12th July from 4pm to 10pm.

In announcing that the State of Emergency for Samoa has extended to the end of August, the government also released some of the restrictions previously imposed on business trading hours.

Restaurants are opened:
(a) for Sunday from 12:00 noon to 10:00pm for take away only.

Customers will still not be able to relax and enjoy the ambiance of Giordano’s garden setting, but can now pick up their favourite pizza, pasta, salads and desserts to go.

The family-owned and operated restaurant has been serving Samoa, from the same location in Motootua since 1990.

The spot has made a name for itself in the region and across the globe with visitors to Samoa making it their “Must-Visit” restaurant when back in country for work or pleasure.

For over 30 years, Alex and Jill Stanley have run Giordano’s woodfire pizza and garden restaurant receiving multiple Trip Advisor Certificates of Excellence awards.

Like most businesses during Covid19 SOE orders, had to make adjustments to trading hours, adding lunchtime and delivery options since the shut downs and border closures.

The latest SOE easing of restrictions means locals and our expat community can once again enjoy their favourite Giordano’s menu options, on a Sunday evening.
