Here again, we can see the connection between having God’s Word in our hearts and the impact that it has on the way we talk and act.
When God’s Word is in your heart, it will fill your mouth with wisdom and it will keep you from slipping.
God’s Word is one of the major keys to standing strong!
Jesus said in Luke 6:47-48 that everyone who hears His Words and puts them into practice will be “LIKE A MAN BUILDING A HOUSE, WHO DUG DEEP AND LAID A FOUNDATION ON ROCK.” If a storm should beat against the house, it will remain unshaken because it was well built.
Getting God’s Word inside your heart and storing it up until it affects your entire life, will enable you to withstand anything that may come your way.
Like the builder in the parable, we all have to dig deep and do all that we can to get God’s Word deep inside our hearts.
Great houses and structures are not built by accident. They require a lot of work. What are you purposefully doing to lay a solid foundation for your life?
Store God’s Word inside your heart, strengthen your stance and become unshakable in your Christian faith.
