In the spirit of giving this festive season, the Samoa Stationery & Books (SSAB) once again demonstrated the company’s core belief that “God is Love”. This was through its remarkable compassion and unwavering support for the abused and vulnerable children under the care of the Samoa Victim Support Group (SVSG).
The company’s recent donation drive saw boxes brimming with essential items such as clothes, towels, and bags being gifted to the children sheltered at the Campus of Hope, a facility under the guardianship of the SVSG, serving as a safe haven for abused women and children; offering refuge and support during their times of need.
Notably, alongside these essential items, SSAB extended an exceptionally generous monetary donation of $1,000. Their continued commitment to supporting the mission of the SVSG has been instrumental in providing care and hope to the vulnerable children under SVSG’s care.
SSAB has consistently demonstrated their dedication to ending violence by designating the 25th of every month as a day to exhibit steadfast solidarity in combatting violence locally and globally.
As part of this initiative, SSAB ensures ongoing support to SVSG, a non-governmental organization primarily focused on aiding women and children who are victims of abuse and neglect.
The donated items, including clothes and bags, were generously contributed by the public, who dropped off their donations at boxes located at the SSAB Megastore Branch, Togafuafua.
SVSG President Siliniu Lina Chang expressed the organization’s gratitude and appreciation to the SSAB for the love and support over the years.
“Thank you Aumua Tuatagaloa and Tofilau Fiti Leung Wai for always supporting SVSG and its work for the abused and the vulnerable. Your commitment to give generously, especially to the most vulnerable and those in need is a testament to God is Love.” Fa’amalo le alofa.
“Th children of hope sends their love and warm wishes to you and the family at the Samoa Stationery & Books, as well as members of the community, who have donated towards the donation drive for them this year. Thank you and God bless.”
